Trace Live

On Tuesday, June 13th, the Trace Live website featured Wyclef Jean’s private concert from a secret venue in Paris. Not only were Warriors around the world able to view this concert live from the comfort of their home computer screens, but they were able to view it in “total immersion.” In other words, viewers were able to adjust their 360 viewing experience to whatever angle they pleased. The concert wouldn’t have been the complete party that it was, though, without the many guests that joined Wyclef, including singers Tal, Fababy, Nelson Freitas, Jacob Desvarieux, Pix’l and Nix.

Midem 2017

Wyclef Jean once again brought the heat at his “wild and energetic performance” on night two of the Midem Music Festival. With on-stage dance parties and no less that a 40-food stage climb, this performance was an intense way to complete a long and lively day, and prepare the audience for day three.

Cannes Lions 2017

From 17th to 24th June, Wyclef Jean attended “the world’s biggest get-together of people interested in creativity” as one of the Entertainment Lions for Music Jury members at the 64th annual Cannes Lions.

"Wild Thoughts"

On June 16th, DJ Khaled came out with his fourth single “Wild Thoughts,” featuring renown stars Rihanna and Bryson Tiller. Relying heavily on a sample of the Wyclef-and-Jerry-Wonda produced hit “Maria Maria,” many are labeling Khaled’s new song a reimagining of a beloved classic. DJ Khaled and Wyclef’s long-time friendship is more apparent than ever as Khaled chose to open his video with the flying of the Haitian Flag.
