    Wyclef Jean is officially back in action in the music world, and he’s finally releasing the third installment of his  Carnival  series,  Carnival III: The Fall and Rise of a Refugee . The latest project, arriving through Legacy Records, completes his trilogy from the past two decades. The new album from the Haitian musician contains a total of 12 tracks, with features from the likes of Emeli Sandé, Lunch Money Lewis, D.L. Hughley, Riley and many more. Wyclef previously took a lengthy musical hiatus, during which time he ran to be elected as President of Haiti, and participated in a slew of philanthropy work.     Wyclef Jean has released his new project  Carnival III: The Fall and Rise of a Refugee , his first full-length album in over eight years. The LP is available for streaming on both Apple Music and Spotify. The 12-song collection features guest appearances from Emeli Sandé, the Knocks, Lunch Money Lewis and Supah Mario. The recording also comes as Wyclef is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut album,  The Carnival  and the 10th anniversary of  The Carnival II . In addition to the album, the former Fugees member released a new video for his song “Borrowed Time.” Wyclef used sounds recorded by the Juno satellite, which has been orbiting Jupiter and taking pictures and recording sounds, to create the track. Bernie Sanders, he was taken from the competition," Jean sang, tailoring the track to reflect the current political climate on an acoustic set for "Salon Stage."     Wyclef Jean’s new album  Carnival III: The Fall and Rise of a Refugee  is here via Legacy Recordings. This is his first album in eight years and falls on the 20th anniversary of his debut album  The Carnival . The former Fugees member released the first single off his new album “Fela Kuti” back in June, and the album follows his EP  The J’ouvert . As part of the Fugees — along with cousin Pras and the incomparable Lauryn Hill — Jean was able to fashion a new take on the evolving genre that is hip-hop, irrevocably changing it in the process.
