    A three-time Grammy winner is coming to  Law & Order: SVU. Rapper Wyclef Jean is set to guest-star on an upcoming episode of the NBC drama,  The Hollywood Reporter  has learned.     On Sunday (Sept. 25), Rémy Martin’s “The Producer Series: Season 2” came to a finale in New York City. The event took place in the swanky PH-D rooftop lounge at the Dream Downtown Hotel. Bright chandeliers dangled above the hyped crowd, and black couches snaked all around the venue joined by tables dotted with cheese-fruit platters, and tiny burgers—as the Chelsea skyline served as a backdrop for the music infused night. Wyclef Jean and Power 105.1’s DJ Reymo presided on the stage, during the event. Dubbed the industry’s hottest beat battle in the East Coast, the event expanded this summer; claiming its beat-making territory in Boston and Philadelphia—featuring the likes of DJ Premier, Jahlil Beatz, C.N.O.T.E, HONORABLE and Wyclef Jean. This past Sunday’s finale showcased a tight competition between eight producers, all battling it out in four different rounds until one was the chosen winner.     Wyclef Jean Announces ‘J’ouvert’ EP
    Wyclef Jean will release the five-song-song EP  J’ouvert  on September 30. The EP follows the release of his new single, “Hendrix,” and prefaces his forthcoming 2017 album,  Carnival III: Road to Clefication . Wyclef says that the EP is a fitting introduction for his next album. “My goal for  J’ouvert  was to pick up where I left off after ‘Sweetest Girl’ and [Shakira’s] ‘Hips Don’t Lie,'” he told  Rolling Stone . “I had these Caribbean sonics haunting my brain and I knew this EP would be the start to what would become the  Carnival 3  album.” Source: radio.com
